Background
Erica received her Paralegal license from the Law Society of Ontario in 2015 after graduating with High Honours from Sheridan College. During her academic years, Erica’s skill and dedication was recognized through numerous awards including the Prosecutor’s of Ontario Award for Advocacy and the Gillian Lee Leadership Award. She was also a member of the winning team of the 2015 Durham College Mock Trial Competition.
After beginning her legal career in a support position at a busy boutique employment law firm in Toronto, Erica joined the employment law team at Morrison Reist Krauss LLP in 2018 as an administrative assistant/clerk.
Expertise
Erica has superior communication skills and a solid foundation in Small Claims Court matters, wrongful/constructive dismissal litigation, human rights law and procedure, and well as the ability to bring claims before the Ministry of Labour. Her collaborative approach with colleagues and clients, mixed with her passion for continued learning, allows her to excel in both legal skills and client service. In support of the pursuit of affordable access to justice for all, Erica now delivers paralegal services for both employee and employer clients of Morrison Reist Krauss LLP.
